Sungrow SBH rebate
Checked against the approved list
Listed until 4 January 2027. Installs after that need a renewed listing to earn certificates; rule 1.
SBH100, the smallest listed size
Waiting past 31 Dec 2026 costs $440
Up to 25 kWh the SBH adds rebate at a steady rate; past 30 kWh each module adds little. Its listing expiry in the first week of January is a second reason to have it installed in 2026.

How the SBH sizes land on the taper
SBH sizes pick up where the SBR leaves off, in 5 kWh steps. The SBH100 earns the full factor on everything, the SBH150 crosses the 14 kWh line by one kilowatt-hour, and the SBH200 and SBH250 each add five kilowatt-hours at 60%.
The SBH300 crosses 28 kWh, and the SBH350 and SBH400 add their capacity at 15%: each of those two steps adds about a quarter of what a 60% step did.
Per kilowatt-hour, the SBH400 earns about 60% of what the SBH100 does, because 26 of its 40 kWh sit in the reduced bands.
Listing BAT-505 ends on 4 January 2027, and the step-down gets there first. An SBH certified in the first four days of 2027 already gets the lower 5.7 factor; one certified after 4 January needs a renewed listing as well.
Other Sungrow batteries on the list
Sungrow records SBH usable capacity equal to the label at every size from 10 to 40 kWh. Above 40 kWh the next Sungrow listing is the commercial ST050CF at 49.9 kWh, which is beyond what most homes install.
Before you sign for a SBH
- Check the quote names an SBH model (SBH100 to SBH400) rather than an SBR, whose listing ends five weeks earlier.
- If your install is booked for late December, ask what happens to the price if it slips into January: the 2026 factor goes first, then the listing on the 5th.
