Sigenergy SigenStor rebate
Checked against the approved list
Listed until 5 June 2027. Installs after that need a renewed listing to earn certificates; rule 1.
1 × BAT 5.0, the smallest listed size
Waiting past 31 Dec 2026 costs $240
SigenStor's mixed modules make 13.0 kWh, just under the line, an easy size to hit. Above about 31 kWh each extra module earns 15% of the factor, so buy it for storage rather than the discount.

How the SigenStor sizes land on the taper
Mixing module sizes lets SigenStor land close to the 14 kWh line: one 5 kWh plus one 8 kWh module gives 13.0 kWh usable, all at the full factor. Two 8 kWh modules give 15.6 kWh, with 1.6 kWh at 60%.
Stacking further, each 8 kWh module adds 7.8 kWh. The third earns 60% on all of it and the fourth on most of it; from the fifth (39.0 kWh), each module earns 15% and adds about a quarter of what the third did.
The one- and two-module combinations shown sit under certificate BAT-522 (listed to 5 June 2027) and the larger stacks under BAT-682 (to 31 December 2027). Sigenergy also lists newer module combinations with other capacities, such as 6.0 kWh usable; enter any of those in the calculator.
Other Sigenergy batteries on the list
Sigenergy has the largest footprint on the approved list by far: more than 2,000 SigenStor entries, plus 50 for the commercial SigenStack. Each SigenStor entry pairs an inverter (3 to 30 kW, single or three phase, some with a built-in EV charger) with a mix of modules, which is why the same capacity appears many times.
Before you sign for a SigenStor
- Ask which modules make up the stack. Each 5 kWh module is listed at 5.2 kWh usable and each 8 kWh module at 7.8 kWh, so two stacks with the same module count can earn different rebates.
- Check the SigenStor model number on the quote matches a listed combination for your inverter size; the list has a separate entry for each inverter and module mix.
- If you are adding modules to a SigenStor that already claimed the discount, the new modules earn nothing.
