How the LUNA2000 sizes land on the taper

Huawei's three listed configurations are one LUNA2000-5kW-C0 power module with one, two or three LUNA2000-5-E0 battery modules. Five and ten kilowatt-hours sit wholly in the full-factor band; at fifteen, the last kilowatt-hour drops to 60%.

That one kilowatt-hour costs little: the 15 kWh stack still earns about 97% of the full rate per kilowatt-hour.

Listing BAT-527 ends on 8 April 2027, three months into the 2027 rates. Larger LUNA2000 systems use more than one stack; for those, ask for each stack's listed model number and enter the total usable capacity in the calculator.

Other Huawei batteries on the list

Huawei has only these three entries on the approved list, all under one certificate, which makes the LUNA2000 one of the easiest batteries here to check against a quote.

Before you sign for a LUNA2000

  • The model number should read LUNA2000-5-S0, LUNA2000-10-S0 or LUNA2000-15-S0; anything else isn't one of the three listed configurations.
  • Usable equals nominal for all three, so a quote that shows a smaller usable figure for a LUNA2000 needs explaining.
