How the aPower X sizes land on the taper

The X-01's 13.6 kWh usable is all in the full-factor band. The X-02 adds 1.4 kWh usable, of which 0.4 kWh still earns the full factor and 1 kWh earns 60%.

Both are listed with a nominal capacity above their usable figure, 14.3 and 16 kWh. A quote may lead with the nominal number; the certificates are counted on 13.6 or 15 kWh.

Both listings run to 31 December 2027 (certificates BAT-1004 and BAT-1003).

Other FranklinWH batteries on the list

FranklinWH has just these two aPower X listings, both approved on 12 May 2026. Neither is listed as a stacked multi-unit system, so a FranklinWH quote for more than one unit should give a listed model number for the whole system.

Before you sign for a aPower X

  • Confirm whether the quote is for the X-01 (13.6 kWh usable) or the X-02 (15 kWh usable); they are separate listings with separate figures.
  • If the quote shows 14.3 or 16 kWh, that is the nominal capacity. Ask the installer to state the usable figure the certificates are based on.
